Land of Imagica Part 5 - "Goodbye, Village of Loure"
The morning just began to dawn. A slight breeze was travelling through the village. Ghondar was still sleeping as Khazzam was sitting on the bed, thinking. *So... Today is the day that we begin our trip towards the Reom Ruins. I wonder if Angela will come along...* Khazzam's thinking was interrupted by a knock on the doors. Khazzam woke Ghondar up with a slight knock on the head. Ghondar began yawning as Khazzam got up to open the doors. They were dressed somewhat different than usual, wearing local village robes. They were dark green, with a small emblem on the back. Khazzam opened the door and was somewhat surprised. Angela was at the door with a big smile. "Oh, hey... What's going on?" Khazzam asked slightly nervous, but Angela just nod her head. "I'm just here to say good morning. Today I take you to Reom Ruins, you didn't forget, did you?" Angela was always smiling, had long silver hair and deep green eyes. Some people could have mistaken her for an elf, by her appearance. Khazzam could have sworn she had green hair on the ceremony the other day. "Uhh... Didn't you have green hair back, on the ceremony?" Angela looked at Khazzam and couldn't help but laugh a little. "That was a traditional ceremony wig, silly." She got Khazzam blushing a little, but he quickly hid the blush. "Oh, when do we leave for Reom Ruins, Angela?" In the meantime Ghondar got up with a slight headache. "Too much ale yesterday..." He scratched his head and saw Angela and Khazzam on the entrance. He just smirked and continued scratching his head. "I'm comfortable with right now. If you're ready." Angela smiled making Khazzam blush again. "Sure, we're ready. Meet us in the village square, ten minutes?" She nodded and started walking away. *Why do I blush in her presence...? Oh, who cares, It'll probably go away soon* Khazzam began walking towards Ghondar who was standing like a statue, with kind of a dumb look on his face. "Get ready in five minutes, slowpoke, or I shall have your head." Khazzam said in a mocking tone which Ghondar didn't even realise. "Who with the what now?" He got dressed in his armor quickly, as did Ghondar. They started to slowly walk towards the village square. They saw Angela waving to them, as she started running towards them. She was dressed in kind of a robe, too, but it was dark blue, and had a different emblem. "Let's get going, then?" Khazzam and Ghondar nodded for agreement. "Aye, let's go..." Ghondar, Khazzam and Angela got out of the village, but waved goodbye to everyone first. "So... Where do we go first?" Ghondar said as he looked around in confusion. "Well, the last time I went to Reom Ruins, I took a dangerous path, but quicker, through the cave. If you want to get there fast I suggest that path. Though, the cave is a habitat for wild animals, aggresive, mostly. So we gotta act fast, and move swiftly." Angela explained as they walked towards the Pegasus Forest exit. "Fine... Let's take that path." Khazzam said as Ghondar nodded for agreement. "Yes, let's..." Angela nodded too. |
